Focus Question:             How do I describe the diversity among ethnic groups in Jamaica and the Caribbean?

        

Objective

watch a video and ask them to pay attention to the sentences in the video:

Observe the table below on how negative sentences are formed

Explain: The students will

State a negative sentence and peer changes it to the affirmative

Extend: The students will

elicit the form from the video and write the following sentences in the negative form

· I like Pizza and orange juice. 

· I don’t like rice and beef 

· Do you like apple? Yes I do/ No, I don’t - 

in pairs,  write a dialgoue using interrogative form with positive and negative answers and read out their work for critique

Evaluate: The students will

Complete task in their tiered level
